How can we help?
Culla's built-in help (Help ▸ Culla Help) covers everything from opening a card to keyboard shortcuts. If something doesn't work the way you expect, write to us — a real person reads every message.

Common questions
The sidebar says “Read-only” and I can't reject or favorite photos
The card can't be written to. Check the lock switch on the side of the card, then open it again with File ▸ Open Folder or Card…
A project shows “Not connected”
The card or disk isn't plugged in. Insert it and open the project again. If a folder was moved or renamed, open it again with File ▸ Open Folder or Card…
Culla shows “Can't display this file.”
The file is damaged or its format isn't supported. RAW decoding is done by macOS, so support for brand-new cameras arrives with macOS updates. The file itself isn't changed, and you can still reject or keep it.
The sidebar shows “need attention”
Files with the same name exist both in the main flow and in _Culla_Rejected or _Culla_Favorites. Culla doesn't overwrite anything — look in those folders in the Finder and decide which copy to keep.
I pulled the card out while Culla was moving a photo
Nothing is lost. Culla finds photos whose files were left behind the next time it scans the card and puts them back together; the sidebar shows how many were repaired.
Where did my rejected photos go?
Into the _Culla_Rejected folder at the top of the card or folder you opened, with the original folder structure kept inside. Favorites are in _Culla_Favorites. Culla never deletes photos.
